As part of our lease administration service, National Lease Advisors reviews documents sent by the landlord to our client to ensure that the document is consistent with the lease. A National Lease Advisors client sent notice to their landlord to terminate a lease that was terminable with 30 days notice. The Landlord sent a formal termination letter with the termination date 15 days later than the 30 day period from the initial termination notice. NLA caught the error and had the landlord correct the date to the date 30 days after notice was provided. This dated correction saved the client from paying 15 days of extra rent.
