National Lease Advisors Inc. today announces the recent addition of Fernanda (“Fe”) Peres to the team as a lease administrator.
Fe brings a strong legal and accounting background to the team. Fe’s experience includes stints at Big Four accounting firm Deloitte and two law firms. A native of Brazil, Fe has also spent time as a bilingual educator in her home country before moving to the United States in 2011.
For Ed Muna, president of National Lease Advisors, this continues the trend of recruiting individuals that bring immediate value to existing clients while also supporting the firm’s continued growth. “One of the keys to our success is developing a core team of proven and motivated professionals that can keep up with our expanding client base,” said Muna. “Fe is a great addition and her background in law and accounting will definitely be leverged to the benefit of our clients.”
Fe earned her law degree from Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas (FMU) in Brazil and master degree from Framingham State University in Massachusetts.
National Lease Advisors has created a niche in the real estate industry by focusing on lease administration, lease audit, and adoption services for ASC 842 (the new lease accounting standard.) In addition to working directly with U.S.-based companies, the firm has developed an alliance program to serve the clients of commercial real estate brokers that exclusively represent tenants.
