In this instance, the landlord applied a 15% administrative fee to all CAM, insurance, and property taxes. This raised a red flag for our experienced team, since a 15% administrative fee for paying the insurance and property tax bill is high. NLA compared the reconciliation to the lease language which permitted the 15% administrative fee to be added to CAM charges, but not to insurance and real estate tax.
